About Us

The Group meets at its own dedicated Scout Hall and Grounds, on Dudlow Green Road in Appleton, Warrington. Started in 1964, the Group mainly has members from the Appleton, Appleton Thorn, Stretton, Hatton and Grappenhall Heys areas of Warrington.

There are around 80 young people and 12 adults in the Group today and we are one of 14 scout Groups in Warrington West District. We offer challenge, adventure, and most of all, fun, to all our members.

There is also a Warrington East District, with 15 Groups. Our nearest neighbouring Groups are 4th Warrington West (1st Stockton Heath) and 25th Warrington East, Grappenhall.

We believe in helping our young people fulfil their potential by working in teams, learning by doing, and thinking for themselves. We are working to make Scouting available to all, to be youth-led, and we are passionate about what we do.
